Capcom Remaking Resident Evil For Nintendo Wii

Washington (dbTechno) - It has been confirmed that Capcom is working on a remake of the original GameCube game Resident Evil Zero, and bringing it over to the Nintendo Wii.
The news comes from the latest issue of Famitsu in Japan.
This is not the first time that Capcom has taken a Resident Evil game from the GameCube library and converted it over to the Wii. It did so with Resident Evil 4 a few months back and the game actually sold quite well.
Capcom is now looking to do it again with Resident Evil Zero.
Capcom is working on a total remake of the original GameCube game. The game is apparently going to feature many of the same type of controls from Resident Evil 4 in that it is going to fully use the Wii Nunchuk and Wii Remote for an entirely new game play experience.
This continues the Capcom trend of porting Resident Evil games to Nintendo platforms, as they brought them all over to the GameCube last generation.

I can understand R4 cause maybe they didn’t get enough sales from GC, but doing Zero is a clear money grab take all you can get move, which i completely disaprove of, either way im not buying it, but im sure plenty of people will.
wow ps3 and 360 get resi 5 while the wii gets umbrella chronicles and 2 remakes. while it wil probably be a decent game im not buying it.Resi games are story-driven games regardless of who says otherwise.so i think ill hang on and pick up resi 5 on my 360.thanks anyway capcom
I just wish they would do a remake of RE2 and RE3 in the same way that they remade RE1 on the GameCube.
There are rumours that capcom are remaking Rezi 1 & 2 for Wii..I so hope its true
Why disapprove? if Capcom wants to remake it for the Wii they are allowed to. The old ways of Resident Evil are lame now that they have improved the camera movements and controls with RE4 and 5. I hope they remake all of them. I will buy them all. The more money Capcom has at their disposal the more we will benefit from their products. Go Capcom! WOOT! WOOT!
