He believes it will be more in line with an intense workout, one which makes you sweat. It appears this will be a bit more strenuous than Wii Fit.

Wii FIt is one of the most highly-anticipated games in North America for 2008, and is being released under the notion that it can serve as a weight loss tool.

EA Sports’ Peter Moore believes it is not going to do enough though.

he stated that they are working on a fitness game for the Wii which does a more “western” style workout, one which gets you moving a lot more, and sweating it up.

He stated to Eurogamer, “I call Wii Fit more eastern fitness, where it senses weight and balance, like Tai-Chi. It’s omre about holistic fitness. I don’t think the board is going to take a pounding. We need to look more at western fitness in which I can actually be moving and start to sweat a little bit, and that’s what we’re working on right now.”
