MS Says Exclusive GTA IV Content Is For Xbox 360 Only

Washington (dbTechno) - Microsoft product management director Aaron Greenberg has come out and stated that all exclusive content promised to the Xbox 360 will remain on the Xbox 360, and will not release on the PS3.

He stated in a recent interview that “There’s a long list of franchises that used to be exclusive to PlayStation or traditionally sold better on that platform. PS3 isn’t performing anywhere near PS2.”

In terms of the chance of content coming for the PS3 version of GTA IV, he stated “I might put that up for a bit of wishful thinking on their (Sony’s) end.”

He stated “The majority of sales of GTA are on Xbxo. It is clear than when you look at actual independent sales data, not our and not theirs, that we do have a larger install base.”
