May 23, 2008
Boston (dbTechno) - According to reports, the highly-anticipated Resident Evil 5 from Capcom will feature full online co-op throughout the entire game, and will release in 2009 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The report comes from 1UP who states that the game will have a main character who will be accompanies by one of the two new female characters.
In solo missions, the AI will have full control over this sidekick character.
Once you take it online though, this will turn Resident Evil 5 into a full-out multiplayer affair.
This is pretty amazing news as it shows that Capcom is definitely ready to take the Resident Evil franchise online, allowing gamers to play through the entire game with a friend.
It is expected to be released in 2009 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
