Miyamoto Confirms New Mario, Zelda In Works, Headed To Wii?
July 25, 2008
Boston (dbTechno) - Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that the developer is working to bring new releases from the Mario, Zelda, and Pikmin franchise to consoles soon, possibly the Wii.
Nintendo’s Miyamoto told the Telegraph that the company is still very focused on the hardcore gamer.
He stated that Nintendo is hard at work “on more Mario, Zelda, and Pikmin projects. And they all work in close proximity to me, so I can keep a good eye on them.”
Super Mario Galaxy, along with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are two of the most popular releases to date on the Nintendo Wii.
Though they have not been confirmed to be coming to the Wii just yet, it would seen pretty obvious that this would be the route the company would take.
