GTA, Coming To The Nintendo Wii Very Soon

Boston (dbTechno) – Grand Theft Auto is now being rumored to be coming to the Nintendo Wii. GTA maker, Take-Two, did not say yes or no to this possibility happening in the future.

Take-Two CEO Ben Feder stated recently that “We continue to build that relationship. GTA Chinatown Wars is not even the first step but certainly an important step in continuing to develop that relationship.”

Chinatown Wars is set to be released on the Nintendo DS in the winter of 2008. If a Grand Theft Auto game were to be released on the Nintendo Wii it would be the first console release for the franchise on a non-hand held Nintendo console. The previous GTA releases were on the Game Boy Advance and the Game Boy Color.

Feder goes on to comment, “I will say that Nintendo and Take-Two work very well together. Nintendo and Rockstar are beginning to work well together and we intend to continue to grow that relationship.”

It seems possible now that GTA may be coming to the Wii very soon.
