Breaking Down Black Friday, Wii Beats Out PS3, Xbox 360

Washington (dbTechno) - The day after Thanksgiving is known to shoppers as Black Friday, a day to try and get the best sales possible and shop with the masses early in the morning. This year in regards to video games, the Nintendo Wii proved to rule all, beating out the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Black Friday sales.
According to the latest numbers, retail sales for Black Friday this year were up around 5% from where they were in 2007, which is good despite the economy in the U.S.
The top product though was clearly the Nintendo Wii according to all of the numbers releases to date thus far.
The Nintendo Wii was the top product on Black Friday on sites such as eBay, PriceGrabber, and others.
The Wii console was not the only big seller from Nintendo, as Wii Fit was also selling for big bucks as well on eBay and in other locations.
It appears that throughout the holidays, in regards to video game consoles, the Nintendo Wii is going to come out the clear winner.

Jeez johnson you microsoft fanboy…chill out. Is it that important to you that the 360 beats the Wii? Its really not that serious man. And do you really think the 360 beat the Wii? Please someone talk some sense into this dork!
What are your sources? All of the numbers released to date thus far? Are you talking about web sites? Does this take into account any numbers from brick and mortar establishments?
I’ve yet to see a 360(anyunit) or a Wii on the store shelves in my area since the start of November. I probably shouldn’t even mention the PS3 but I have only seen it out of stock once in this past year and that was around the launch of MGS4.

thats just 1 area dumb nuts it means nothing
any who wii always going to sell its cheap but what about the games its more of a gimmick then a real console and I have a wii but along with a ps3, and 360 so I can say these things
Bah..PS3 Outsold everything here in the Midwest. Xbox 360 is last, 2nd is WII. Proof is in the Pudding.
