Nintendo Wii Review
Publisher: SEGA
Released: December 2, 2008

Nancy Drew The White Wolf of Icicle Creek has hit the Nintendo Wii courtesy of SEGA, and has been enjoying some success since its launch.

This release brings us the teenage detective Nancy Drew as she has to go out into the cold and the elements to the Canadian Rockies.

With this being the first release of the Nancy Drew series on the Nintendo Wii, I was curious to see how it would all work.  Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

The point-and-click adventure franchise has worked out nicely on the Nintendo Wii as you will try to uncover exactly what is happening to all of the guests at this particular Icicle Creek lodge

You will play through this one as Nancy Drew herself, trying to get to the bottom of everything that has been going on.

The game is not all about detective work though, as there are other things that have to get done such as cooking and cleaning.  This will act as your cover while you carry out the investigation.

There are many factors you will have to take into account here, such as the clock, the weather outside, and everything else as you have to weigh all of this as you try to investigate at the opportune times.

The game is actually set up well and the graphics, as well as the sound are very strong.  Visually, this is a good looking game with some nice detail, use of colors, etc.  This is not to say that it could have been better, because it certainly could, but there is not too much to complain about.

The music really won me over as well due to the fact that the musical score sets the mood of the game nicely.

Nancy Drew The White Wolf of Icicle Creek is a very strong release on the Nintendo Wii, and a nice entry of the franchise on the console.  Everything translates well with good use of the Wii Remote being put to work.  If you enjoy doing some investigating and want a good point-and-click experience on the Wii, this is worth checking out.

Graphics: 7.5
Not as good as they could have been, but certainly up there in terms of quality..

Audio: 7.8
The musical score sets the mood nicely.

Gameplay: 7.0
The game works well, the Wii Remote does the job.

Replay Value: 6.0
The game is great, but once you play through it once there is no need to go back.

Final Score: 7.2
