Reality TV Series Featuring Guitar Hero May Launch Soon
May 8, 2009
Washington (dbTechno) - Activision is reportedly working on starting up a new reality TV series based around their Guitar Hero franchise.
There really is no word yet on what the reality TV series will be like or anything of that nature, but Activision has big plans.
Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has hinted in the past that Guitar Hero could translate into entertaining TV.
The belief is that it could also be used in the future for a concert tour.
The other big news coming out of Activision in regards to TV entertainment is that they are also in talks on bringing Call of Duty to theaters in the form of a full-length feature film.
Activision also announced this week 3 new Guitar Hero games are in development, including Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, and DJ Hero.
