Sony PSP Go Debuts in Japan
November 2, 2009

Boston (DbTechNo) - It is being reported that in day one of its Japan release, the Sony PSP Go sold an estimated 28275 units.
This number is not as high as Sony was expecting, following the launch of the handheld gaming system in the US last month.
Sony is banking on their new gaming system to bring in big bucks, and it should do so as it offers users a handheld gaming system without extra hardware to carry around.
The PSP Go comes without discs, meaning that to play games, users must download them from Sony’s network.
Many retailers are not in favor with the downloadable game option, because it means that they lose money because consumers will not be purchasing games from actual stores.
Sony expects to sell more than 15 million handheld gaming devices from April 2009 to March 2010.
