Cervical Cancer Vaccine Painful, Making Girls Faint

Washington (dbTechno) - According to health experts, the cervical cancer vaccine Gardasil is the most painful shot you can receive.
Health officials have been pushing Gardasil for its ability to protect against the cancer-causing sexually transmitted virus HPV for some time now.
One thing which is coming up though more and more is the fact that the cervical cancer vaccine is the most painful out of just about any shot you can receive.
One disease expert at Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota stated “This vaccine stings a lot.”
Many reports have come out of girls fainting from getting the vaccines, causing U.S. health officials to look into the pain brought on by the vaccine a bit closer.
From 2002 to 2004, there were about 50 reports of girls fainting. From 2005 through July 2007, there were about 230 reports. 180 of those cases followed a Gardasil vaccination.
There is currently no connection between the fainting increase and the vaccine Gardasil. Dr. Barbara Slade, an immunization safety specialist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as others continue to look into if a connection is there for a clear link between the cervical cancer vaccine and girls fainting.

I have had all three of my vaccinations and found that not one of them hurt. All of my vaccinations were performed by a 1st year under-graduate med student.
I believe that the girls fainting after the shot is because they have worked themselves up to it.
I think that a colposcopy biopsy hurts more… and that’s just the beginning
i agree that the colposcopy hurts way more and then there is the emotional pain of knowing that you have more of a chance of getting it because you didnt have the vaccine, i say one prick is worth it its better than a life time of pain and worry.
