Shanghai Hualian, the Chinese maker of an abortion pill has been confirmed to have manufactured tainted leukemia drugs which made more than 200 cancer patients become paralyzedBeijing (dbTechno) - Shanghai Hualian, the Chinese maker of an abortion pill has been confirmed to have manufactured tainted leukemia drugs which made more than 200 cancer patients become paralyzed.

Regulators have already closed down the drug manufacturing plant which was operated by Shanghai Hualian.

The company has been accused by regulators of trying to cover up the tainted drugs which caused cancer patients to become paralyzed.

The company is the only supplier to the U.S. of the abortion pill mifepristone, or RU-486.

That abortion pill though has nothing to do with the actual tainted leukemia drug as it i smade at a different factory.

The FDA stated that they are not aware of any evidence to state that the tainted leukemia drugs are linked in any way to the abortion drugs mifepristone which are common in the U.S.

Just a few months ago 2 top officials within the company were arrested following an investigation by China’s FDA.
