This brings the total number of deaths in Indonesia up to 108.

There have been 133 cases of the H5N1 bird flu vrius in total in Indonesia, the hardest hit country in the world, and things aren’t getting any better.

According to reports, the 3-year old boy was from the Central Java province.

The boy has a history of being in contact with birds. Just recently, many chickens died in the same neighborhood where the boy lived.

He developed respiratory problems and died on April 23.

This comes just days after Indonesia completed a 3-day bird flu drill on the island of Bali.

The idea behind the bird flu drill was to prepare the people of Indonesia in the event that the H5N1 bird flu virus mutates into a form that can be transferred easily from one human to another.
