According to the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, around 50% of Americans are having a hard time staying happy and healthy.Washington (dbTechno) - According to the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, around 50% of Americans are having a hard time staying happy and healthy.

A massive survey of more than 100,000 people in the U.S. was carried out for the index.

The results are based on how those who took part in the survey feel about their lives, how things are going, how they feel, etc.

They were also asked about their future, and where they saw themselves in a half-decade.

4% of Americans were deemed as suffering, while nearly 50% were deemed as having a hard time staying happy, as well as healthy.

The 4% of Americans suffering last food, shelter, and medical care.

Some responded to state that they were thriving though, meaning they had better education, income, etc. 49% of those who responded stated they were thriving.

Nearly 70% of the workers who responded reported a body mass index that would make them considered overweight or obese.
