The hand, foot and mouth disease also has apparently caused officials to close two kindergarten schools in Beijing..

Since the current outbreak began, there have been 26 deaths linked directly to it.

The child virus continues to spread all throughout China and is now apparently heading for the capital of China, Beijing.

China has failed to reveal too much in regards to actual information and progress on the virus itself.

Little has been released from Chinese officials in regards to timely and accurate information.

A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry, Qin Gang, stated on Monday that “we are taking needed action to keep it from spreading.”

This may not be enough though as the fear is that it could reach the capital soon.

The outbreak began in rural regions in China back in March, and has since began to spread very rapidly.

This year alone, there have been over 15,000 cases of hand, foot and mouth disease reported.
