Sen. Kennedy Back On Cape After Brain Tumor Diagnosis

Boston (dbTechno) - Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy walked out of the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on his own power Wednesday, one day after being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.
Kennedy was in very good spirits and showed a great deal of energy despite all of the stress he must have been under over the course of the past few days.
After arriving back at his vacation home on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, Kennedy went out sailing for the day.
The hospital has put out a statement from his doctors, stating “Senator Kennedy has recovered remarkably quickly from his Monday procedure and therefore will be released from the hospital today ahead of schedule. He will return to his home on Cape Cod while we await further test results and determine treatment plans. He’s feeling well and eager to get started.”
Doctors are sill working to try and figure out the best course of treatment for Kennedy, as options such as chemotherapy, radiation, and other treatments are still being weighed.
The malignant brain tumor is located in the upper left part of his brain, there is no word yet on the size of the tumor.
