The studies were published on Tuesday in the medical journal PLoS Medicine, and also linked childhood and fetal exposure to lead to decreased brain volume.

Researchers from the University of Cincinnati carried out parts of the research, stating that children who are exposed to lead are more likely to be arrested as criminals during their adult lives.

They found through their study that increased blood lead levels before the birth of a baby, and during early childhood put them at higher risk of being arrested for crimes, including violent crimes.

The second study was carried out at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and found that lead exposure was linked to shrinking of certain parts of the brain when they became adults.

They found that lead had a larger impact on brain volumes in men than in women.
