West Nile Virus Detected Again, This Time In Salt Lake

Less than one week after Kane County in Utah reported that the West Nile virus had been detected, it has been spotted once again in Salt Lake County..Washington (dbTechno) – Less than one week after Kane County in Utah reported that the West Nile virus had been detected, it has been spotted once again in Salt Lake County.

The report came out on Wednesday the the West Nile virus has been detected.

They used 10 mosquito test pools in wetlands just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah and found that West Nile was prevalent in 6 of those pools.

The best thing that people can do is to wear mosquito repellent, wear long-sleeved shirts and pants whenever possible, and stay away from standing water.
