Kroger Faces Lawsuits Following E. Coli Outbreak, Beef Recall

Kroger is now facing two different lawsuits in the state of Ohio, following the E. coli outbreak which was connected to ground beef sold by the company. According to local news reports out of Ohio, the latest person to file a lawsuit against Kroger is Amanda Adams, who says she became sick after consuming the Kroger beef.

She is seeking $10,000 in damages from the company according to 10TV News in Ohio.

Kroger is being blamed and labeled as negligent in the lawsuit, due to the fact that they supplied the tainted ground beef to customers.

The lawsuit is also seeking for Kroger to reveal just how the E. coli bacteria made it into the meat.

The total number of people who have been infected from the E. coli outbreak in Ohio now stands at 18.
