The Bush administration has decided to replace Dr. John Howard, the head person in charge of all health issues which came out of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade CenterWashington (dbTechno) - The Bush administration has decided to replace Dr. John Howard, the head person in charge of all health issues which came out of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s director, Julie Gerberding, met with Howard on Thursday to tell him that he was being replaced.

The six-year term of Howrd, the director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, will expire on July 14.

Howard has been working dilligently to help push for federal programs to monitor the health of the workers and others who state they were badly sickened following the World Trade Center attacks.

Many feel that the departure of Howard could jeopardize the future funding ot victims of 9/11.
