Doctors Say Lyme Disease Appears To Be On The Rise

Boston (dbTechno) - According to doctors, Lyme disease is on the rise once again across the U.S, and especially in Pennsylvania.
The news comes from doctors at the PinnacleHealth system, who stated that they have seen around 2 to 4 cases of Lyme disease this year thus far, for a total of around 50 cases.
The rise in Lyme disease is said to be the fact that people are spending more time outside in the warmer weather.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that for 2006, Pennsylvania doctors reported over 3,000 cases of Lyme disease, the second highest among states in the U.S.
The highest was New York with nearly 4,500 cases.
