The report looked at various kids’ meals offered at fast food chains such as KFC, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, Sonic, and others.

They looked at 1,474 choices of foods for kids at 13 different fast food chains.

What they found was that 93% of the fast food choices for kids exceeded 430 calories.

That amount, 430 calories, comes out to one-third of the recommended daily calorie intake for kids aged 4 to 8.

This is showing that parents may be having a hard time picking up a healthy meal for their kids at many fast food chains across the country.

On top of that, they also found that 45% of the kids’ meals were above where they should have been in terms of saturated and trans fats.

86% of the kids’ meals looked at in the fast food chains were deemed to be high in sodium.

With obesity becoming such a major concern in the U.S., parents are struggling to find healthy food choices for kids on the go.

The best choices were said to be meals such as Subway’s Fresh Fit for Kids meals,. which were under the 430-calorie mark.
