More Employees At UCLA Medical Center Saw Celebs’ Health Info

August 5, 2008

A new state report released has revealed that more workers at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles took a peek at the medical records of celebrities without permission than previously thought..Sacramento (dbTechno) - A new state report released has revealed that more workers at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles took a peek at the medical records of celebrities without permission than previously thought.

The report was released on Monday by the California Department of Public Health.

From January 2004 to June 2006, it is believed that 127 workers at the UCLA Medical Center looked at the medical records of celebrities without permission.

This is far above the number of workers reported earlier in the year, and shows a growing problem.

Even after the crackdown in April, the Los Angeles Times is reporting that workers continued to look at the medical records of a celebrity.

Some of the celebrities who were victims to this included Britney Spears, Farrah Fawcett, California First Lady Maria Shriver, and others.
