FBI Set To Revael Evidence in Athrax Case To Victims’ Families
August 6, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - According to reports, the FBI is set to reveal their evidence in the 2001 anthrax case, presenting it to the families of the five victims who died, along with other survivors, the media, etc.
There will be a closed-door briefing which is set to take place on Wednesday morning at the FBI headquarters.
The idea behind briefing is to reveal to the families the evidence they have in place.
This evidence is aimed to prove that Maryland scientist Bruce Ivins was responsible for the anthrax attacks, which took place shortly after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
The expectation is that once this evidence is released, there will be no doubt as to who was responsible for the attacks.
Bruce Ivins committed suicide, killing himself last week before he could be arrested and charged in the case.
He reportedly caught wind of the investigation, and that they were closing in on him. He killed himself by overdosing on painkillers.
