Last week, federal authorities completed a raid of hospitals in Los Angeles, which resulted in Dr. Rudra Sabarantnam being charged.

He is the owner of the City of Angels Medical Center in Los Angeles, and is being charged with healthcare fraud, as well as conspiring.

Also charged in the case was Estill Mitts, who runs the 7th Street Christian Day Center.

According to reports, Mitts, who faces the same charges as Sabarantnam, recruited homeless people to go to the hospital.

The homeless individuals would be paid for their time, as they were treated for fake medical conditions in the hospital, which were then paid by insurance companies.

More arrested are expected to be made as the investigation continues, and more comes out.
