The government started to release evidence against Ivins just last week, linking him to the anthrax attacks which took place shortly after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

On July 29th, federal officials got the word that Bruce Ivins had killed himself.

The FBI was set to charge the man, who was a U.S. government scientist, in the anthrax attacks.

He apparently caught wind of this, and overdosed on Tylenol with codeine to kill himself. He ended up dying at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.

He worked as a U.S. government scientist for 18-years, and became the leadings uspect in the 2001 anthrax attacks as of late.

The anthrax attack was carried out in the mail, going to politicians and media outlets, resulting in 5 deaths, and 17 injuries.

According to the DoJ, there is now no doubt that he carried out the attacks.
