West Nile Virus Claims Another Victim In California

Sacramento (dbTechno) - The West Nile virus has claimed another victim in the state of California, as a 64-year old man from Garden Grove has been confirmed to have died from the virus.
The 64-year old, whose name has not been released, was confirmed to have been infected with West Nile virus.
This marks the second death in Orange County, California this month alone.
Health officials in California confirmed that the 64-year old man did indeed die from West Nile after tests confirmed that he was infected with the disease.
There was no information released in regards to when he died, or what day he was admitted to the hospital.
The West Nile virus can infect a human via a bite from an infected mosquito.
Health officials have stated that the risk of human infection in this part of California is very high, its highest in years.
