Pfizer Changes Things, Starts Lipitor Ads Once Again
September 3, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - Pfizer, shortly after being involved in a major controversy surrounding their drug Lipitor, has begun advertising it yet again.
There are only a few more years before Pfizer will have their patent on Lipitor run out, and the company is not going to let the time slip by.
The company has launched some new advertising for the cholesterol-lowering drug in hopes of boosting sales yet again.
This comes after a great deal of controversy surrounded in the cholesterol-lowering drug.
Robert Jarvik, pioneer of the artificial heart, was stated to be not presented properly in the ads for the drug.
The ads made viewers believe that they could do things on the drug that was not logical, such as rowing.
The new ad takes a far different approach, showing a heart attack survivor on Lipitor, living well in a more ordinary life.
