West Nile Virus Kills Third Person In California

Sacramento (dbTechno) – The West Nile virus has taken another victim.  It has been confirmed that a third person has died from the West Nile virus in the state of California.

This is the third person to die from West Nile virus in the state this year alone.

The most recent death was of a 48-year old man from San Benardino County, California.

He died from the mosquito-borne virus back on August 27th.

It is very rare for a person who contracts the West Nile virus to die, as the vast majority actually recover.

This is the third death from West Nile virus in the state of California in just the last few weeks.

This year alone, over 130 cases of West Nile virus have been reported in the state.
