Health Care Costs To Spike For Workers In 2009

Washington (dbTechno) - A new study has shown that American workers who get health insurance through their jobs can expect to see a spike in their costs of health care in 2009.
The new study was put out by Hewitt Associates Inc., and predicts the cost of health care in 2009.
They stated that next year, the cost of health care benefits for companies is going to jump by 6.4%.
This is going to translate over to employees having to pay more for health care costs.
The average annual premium cost per employee will be increased from $8,331 up to $8,863.
On top of that, health care costs are going to continue to increase 6% to 7% each year.
The study revealed that overall, employees can expect to pay 8.9% more, or another $3,826 in 2009 than they did in 2008.
