Race For The Cure In Denver Raises Millions For Breast Cancer

Boston (dbTechno) - The annual Race for the Cure in Denver, Colorado took place this past weekend, and managed to bring in around $2.4 million for breast cancer.
The money will go towards breast cancer research, as well as treatments, education, and advanced screening programs.
There were more than 62,000 people who took part in the Race For The Cure, wither walking or running.
Many had the option of doing a variety of different things for the race, including a 5K run/walk, as well as a co-ed 5K run/walk.
There was also a 1 mile family walk for those who wanted to take part in that.
The majority of the money raised will actually end up stayingr ight in the area where the race took place.
Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer death worldwide, with 500,000 deaths annually.
With this month being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is important to help by raising awareness and doing what you can to fight the terrible disease.
