According to a new report released on Wednesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is at fault for how they handled the situation where they adopted agency rules in regards to drug liability...  ..Washington (dbTechno) – According to a new report released on Wednesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is at fault for how they handled the situation where they adopted agency rules in regards to drug liability.

The report was released by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and found that top FDA officials did not agree with the political appointees.

They reportedly did not agree at all in regards to accept limits on how liable drug makers could be.

This became clear once the FDA took control of various drug labels and warnings on drugs in 2006.

The political appointees basically overruled the officials and experts in their decision.

FDA documents have revealed the disagreement, and they are now being seen at fault for how they handled their decision.

With this new ruling in effect, it would make it harder for drug companies to get sued.

This comes just before the U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear the case of Wyeth vs. Levine.
