Washington (dbTechno) – A new study has shown that by eating grapes, you can actually lower your blood pressure overall.
The study was carried out by researchers from the University of Michigan on lab rats.
What they found was that grapes were able to fight high blood pressure which was caused by an unhealthy diet that was high in salt.
Grapes not only were able to lower blood pressure, but they were also able to help fight off heart disease, improve heart function, and prevent heart muscle damage.
Researchers gave rats the grapes over the course of an 18-week period.
What they found was that once the rats began to take the grapes in the form of a powder, their downhill slope in regards to hypertension and heart failure began to reverse.
