West Nile Continues, First Human Case In Kern County

Washington (dbTechno) - The West Nile virus season is not over just yet as it has been announced that the first human case of the West Nile Virus has hit Kern County, California.
Health officials from Kern County have announced that the person infected is an adult between the age of 40 and 50.
It is believed that the person contracted the West Nile Virus back in August.
The person who is infected did inform health officials that he was bitten by mosquitoes and was outside quite often.
It was also said that he did not use any type of bug repellent or anything of that nature.
Health authorities continue to be on the watch for more West Nile Virus cases as the season is not over yet.
