The study focused on a group of 641 people all of age 65 or older at the start of it.

The biggest thing they all had in common was that they had bene diagnosed with cancer at least five years wgo, and had no evidence of recurrence.

The cancers they were diagnosed with include breast cancer, prostate cancer, among others.

Half of the seniors were set up with a personal trainer, while the other half were not.

They found that the group who were set up with the trainer to exercise, eat healthy, etc.  had big health benefits.

They consumed less calories, increased physical activity, dropped body weight, etc.

The study has been presented at the American Association for Cancer Research Frontiers in Cancer Prevention Conference.

  • “According to a new study, elderly cancer survivors can get great health benefits through a good diet and regular exercise.”

I cannot believe that “scientists” are still doing research to see if a “good diet” and “regular exercise” will benefit people.

I thought that it pretty much a foregone conclusion that a good diet and regular exercise is – a – good – thing?
