VA Reveals Plan To Build New Hospitals In New Orleans

Boston (dbTechno) - The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has announced that they are set to build two new hospitals right near downtown New Orleans, Louisiana.
The new hospitals are one part of a new renewed effort to try and fix the health care system in the city of New Orleans.
Many government and business leaders in the city of New Orleans are thrilled about the move.
This is all part of the re-development of New Orleans following the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina.
The idea is to try and create new jobs in New Orleans, while fixing the health care system a great deal.
Mayor Ray Nagin stated that the decision to bring in these hospitals was a huge accomplishment, and one which will surely help the city recover.
The VA will be working with the state of Louisiana and Louisiana State University on the hospitals.
