FDA Issues Warning For Dangerous Weight Loss Drugs
December 23, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning against nearly 30 weight loss drugs. These are all diet drugs which many people may want to turn to once the holidays are over and they want to once again drop the added pounds.
The FDA has come out and stated though that these weight loss drugs are not safe in any way.
The majority of them come from China, and are very dangerous due to the fact that they contain ingredients which are not even listed.
These ingredients can have a major impact on your body, suppressing your appetite, among other things.
On top of that, the drugs are so strong that they are far above what doctors would consider to be a safe and recommended dose of any medicine.
All of the potentially dangerous ingredients that these weight loss drugs contain are all hidden, as none are listed on the label of the product.
These diet drugs go by a variety of names, such as natural fat remedies.
There is a possibility that the FDA will go after these companies with criminal charges.
