The current U.S. health care system is clearly lackinga s there are currently 47 million people in this country who do not have health insurance.

Even before Obama won the election, one of the biggest campaign topics was health care.

The American health care system is going to be reformed so that more people will be able to get health insurance coverage.

On top of that, the hope is that current plans and such will be able to be made cheaper.

To help out Obama in this health care reform process is former Democratic Senate majority leader Tom Daschle.

He has been appointed the Secretary for Health and Human Services, and will lead health care reform.

Despite the economic problems in our country, it appears President-elect Obama is determined to spend what is necessary to fix health care.
