FDA Reveals Positive Results For New Diabetes Drug

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has revealed positive results for a review that they carried out on a new diabetes drug.<br /> .........Washington (dbTechno) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has revealed positive results for a review that they carried out on a new diabetes drug.

The FDA review honed in on a brand new diabetes drug from from AstraZeneca and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.

The drug was found to be effective, and have very low rates of issues in regards to cardiovascular events.

These events included things such as heart attacks, strokes, etc.

The review was released on Monday by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and is being seen as extremely positive.

The next step is for a vote to come in on Wednesday for medical experts to see if there is enough data to rule out any safety concern in regards to the drug.

This this turns out to go well, then it is likely that the FDA will soon approve the drug.

The new diabetes drug inquestion is known as saxagliptin.
