Officials in Mexico made the announcement on Monday, stating that things can now get  back to normal.

With the alert level now lowered in Mexico City, the hope is that it will be filled up again with big crowds per usual.

When the swine flu outbreak began, Mexico City virtually shut down with museums, shops, etc. all closing.

Universities and high schools are set to open back up on Thursday as well.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon made it clear that he feels the swine flu is now starting to go away.

The spread of the virus is slowing, and it finally appears that things have been returned to normalcy.

Despite this fact, there have still been 26 deaths from the swine flu in Mexico.
