It is being reported that Toyota have developed technology that allows a wheelchair to be maneuvered by brain waves
Boston (DbTechNo) - It is being reported that Toyota have developed technology that allows a wheelchair to be maneuvered by brain waves.

This would be an amazing breakthrough as it would allow for people with severe physical disabilities to navigate independently.

According to the Japanese company, their device will allow for a person to use their brain thoughts to move a wheelchair to the left, right or straight ahead.

The device uses electroencephalography technology to measure electrical impulses in a person’s brain, and then interprets it to the chair which moves accordingly.

The company says that more development is needed on their technology, but that sooner than later it maybe a possibility for people who are independent on others for mobility to become more independent.
