Plastic Surgery Procedure Eases Pain of Migraines

Boston (DbTechNo) – People suffering from migraines may want to make an appointment with a cosmetic surgeon as results of a study suggest that a type of procedure can ease head aches.

Migraines can be very, very painful for those people unfortunate to live with them, and more often than not painkillers do not do the trick.

A plastic surgery procedure which is actually quite common maybe the answer to how to ease migraine pain.

The discovery was made by plastic surgeon Dr. Bahman Guyuron following a forehead lift he performed on a female patient.

In the procedure the doc removes the nerves from around the forehead, and thus finds a way to eleviate migraine pain.

“I operated on a patient who came for a follow-up after a forehead lift,” Guyuron said. “Not only did she like the way she looked, she didn’t have migraines headaches for six months since the surgery.”
