CDC Proposing Mandatory Circumcision for New Born Babies
Boston (DbTechNo) – A lot of talk concerning circumcision is heating up across America as the CDC has proposed making it manditory for all new borns to be snipped.
They cite study data from Africa that has shown that the risk of transmitting the HIV virus decreases by up to 50% if a man is circumcised, a procedure which involves cutting off the foreskin of the penis.
The proposal would make it manditory for all new born babies in the US to be circumcised, a move which according to study data would reduce their risk of contracting HIV as adults, as well as other sexually transmitted diseases.
Critics to the proposed circumcision rule state that a man should have the right to make a decision whether to be circumcised or not, a fact not an option for baby boys.
What do you think? Should all baby boys born in America be be circumcised?

It is profoudnly disturbing that such a measure should even be entertained in the mind of anyone at all. The large majority of the human race, including the male inhabitants of every country in Europe, remain intact throughout life. Every country in Europe has a signficantlhy lower rate of hiv infection than the united states where infant circumcision has been practiced now for several generations. Extrapolating from a few ]trials done in Africa in order to establsh a policy of universal genital modification in the United States is madness. The fact that you can even ask this question as if it were reasanable reflects how deranged and provincial the american mind has become on this subject. Those who are considering this measure in the cdc shold be investigated and they should be removed from their positions. They demonstrate a dangerous and criminal disregard for the rights of nonconsenting infants and their parents.
Ridiculous. I am speechless at the absolute insanity of this idea. It’s on par with “let’s pump our little girls full of vaccines *just in case* they decide to have premarital sex and *just in case* they come in contact with the very limited number of strains of HPV that this vaccine “protects” against. Rather than teaching the value and practicality of monogamy and the virtue of self-discipline and self-restraint, there are people who would prefer to hack off a part of a child’s body in a practice that does not even guarantee safety from an illness that a very small segment of the population is likely to come into contact with. Hello, CDC? Take your hands off our children, please!
To allow government the ability to dictate and make certain medical care mandatory, is a claim that said government OWNS your body and not you.
More Big Brother strategies in the age of Big Brother. Tell them to go to hell. How soon before we have mandatory sterilization at birth for randomly selected individuals to ensure manageable population growth? Or mandatory genetic engineering to reduce health costs? There will be no end to this. Defy this evil tendency at all costs.

A site that supposedly offers science news ought to be able to find someone on staff who can check what CDC has to say before posting a story like this.
Silly really, because circumcision isn’t a substitute for decent sex education….
Terrible idea. Almost no-one circumcises their children in Europe unless they’re Muslim or Jewish, and Europe has significantly lower rates of almost all STI’s, including HIV.
Even in Africa, there are six countries where men are more likely to be HIV+ if they’ve been circumcised: Rwanda, Cameroon, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, and Swaziland. Eg in Malawi, the HIV rate is 13.2% among circumcised men, but only 9.5% among intact men. In Cameroon, the HIV rate is 4.1% among circumcised men, but only 1.1% among intact men. If circumcision really worked against AIDS, this just wouldn’t happen. We now have people calling circumcision a “vaccine” or “invisible condom”, and viewing circumcision as an alternative to condoms.
ABC (Abstinence, Being faithful, Condoms) is the way forward. Promoting genital surgery will cost lives, not save them.

That is the most ridiculous proposal I have seen since 1973. I am not a Jew and no grand-children of mine will be circumcized. I shame anyone who supports this, and damn you all to hell. This is America and we have the right to choose. You bastards will change that over my dead body, which I give three more years to reach that state.
The CDC has now issued a disclaimer saying that any recommendations will be “completely voluntary” and that’s all the Intactivist movement has ever wanted. If an adult man wants to cut the best part of his penis off, that’s his absolute right. But of course to exercise that right, it can’t be cut off him as a baby. “Competely voluntary” can only mean knives off (barring pressing medical need) until he’s old enough to give his informed consent, in person, himself.
Five generations of our family have lived in the US and only in 3 cases has circumcision been necessary. My children have remained intact and their sons to date also. They have all been put under extreme pressure to have the procedure done. They have been given all the ‘reasons’ in favor of circumcision, but none seemed valid. Many of my grandchildren’s friends are intact as well, so to see a circumcised penis is strange to them and theie friends wonder how much their parents really loved them to cut something off.

Neither hell nor high water will my child be cut! The doctor that touches my child in a manner to threaten his genital integrity will need a body guard to get close to him. I was cut and am now restoring because I was born with a foreskin I am going to die with one and no one has the right to do that to my child. Condoms stop AIDS, cutting the Male penis does not. You have the right to protect your property and family from harm!

It is absurd and disgusting that ANY website would publish such a terrible falsehood as “CDC Proposing Mandatory Circumcision for New Born Babies”, but not NEARLY as absurd and disgusting as the FACT that the CDC IS CONSIDERING *RECOMMENDING* that all baby boys in America be butchered. Criminally insane.
