August 31, 2009

Boston (DbTechNo) - The race to produce a swine flu vaccine is heating up with drug maker Sinovac leading the way.
The company is based in China and have just announced that their vaccine candidate has passed initial inspection by a group of experts and should be on the Chinese market in the very near future.
Swine flu has taken the world by storm since April, killing more than 1000 people from around the world and infecting hundreds of thousands more.
Upon the positive news, shares in Sinovac jumped by over $1 to $7.85, and will more than likely continue to increase as word spreads.
The company says that they are the first to complete an H1N1 vaccine trial, despite the fact that larger companies are also attempting to produce a vaccine.
