Teresa Heinz Battling Breast Cancer
December 23, 2009

Boston (DbTechNo) - It is being reported that Teresa Heinz has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
For those who may not know of her, she is the wife of Sen. John Kerry, 2004 Democratic presidential nominee.
She was diagnosed with the disease back in September and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
She had gone to hospital to have what she was told was a benign tumor removed, but it actually turned out to be cancerous.
Heinz says that she is a perfect example of why women should be getting mammograms on a regular basis to check for breast cancer.
“Chemotherapy is serious. It also costs a lot of money. It’s very painful. And it’s very destructive of people’s - most people’s - lives for a while, anyway. So why put people through that instead of just having a test that’s done, and it’s done” she said.

Access Medline or Pubmed, and enter “antidepressants” and “cancer.” You may retrieve more than sixty cliniical, laboratory, and epidiemiological studies on the remarkable anticancer properties of antidepressants. Antidepressants can arrest cancer even in advanced stages, occasionally eradicate it, and significantly extend life. They are potentlally effective in malignanciies resistant to chemotherapy and radiation. They kill cancer cells, inhibit their proliferation, convert multidrug resistant cells to chemotherapy sensitive, and can protect nonmalignant cells from damage by ionizing radiation. Adoption of the paradigm shift would make a highly signifiant contribution to health reform,, as long as vested interests are not allowed to suppress it. In 2001, I published the first of five reviews in which I explain the anticancer properties of antidepressants. Humanity, it seems, has caught an unexpected break. Advocacy and activism might acceleate he pace of imkplementation.
