FDA Warns Consumers of Fake Alli Weight Loss Pills

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) are warning people to avoid a counterfit weight loss pill that is being sold
Boston (DbTechNo) – The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) are warning people to avoid a counterfit weight loss pill that is being sold.

The fake Alli pill is a counterfit of the actual Alli weight loss pill which is one of the most popular weight loss products on the US market.

The real version of Alli is made by GlaxoSmithKline, and contains orlistat as its active ingredient.

The fake pills are being sold over the internet, as bottles containing 60-mg capsules.

The fake pills contain sibutramine which is very dangerous if ingested by certain patients who are already taking other medications.

There are a few ways of determining a fake version of Alli from the real thing.

First of all, there is no lot number on the fake package.

Also, the real Alli comes in small white pellets and the fake version comes in larger pills with a white powder.
