Dutch Government Trying to Sell Swine Flu Vaccine Back to Manufacturers

It appears that the Dutch government want to sell their surplus swine flu vaccine back to its manufacturer.

The government says they have more than 21 million doses of the vaccine which have not been used.

They have tried to shop the vaccine to other countries but nobody else wants to buy it.

The country had purchased their vaccine supply from both GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis, and have approached both companies to attempt to sell them back.

In total they purchased 34 million doses of vaccine, but have only distributed 13 million of them.

Swine flu appears to be losing steam around the world, after causing wide spread panic last year.

Beginning last April, the virus was identified in Mexico and quickly swept the globe infecting hundreds of thousands and killing many.
