California Host To International Cannabis And Hemp Expo

Pot heads all over the state of California are in attendance at the International Cannabis and Hemp Expo, being held at the Cow Palace.

The event features marijuana themed items for everybody, including; vaporizers, bongs, and even hash brownies.

Organizers of the two-day event also insisted on having an onsite medicating location for people to light up.

California is one of a handful of states in America that has legalized the smoking of marijuana for medicinal purposes.

Back in 1996, voters approved the bill to legalize the smoking of pot, for those who own doctor referrals and an identification card.

“It makes the industry more of a community, more visible, more powerful,” said chief operations officer for the expo, Bob Katzman. “This country is definitely in need of a homegrown industry, and this could be it.”
