South African President Jacob Zuma has confirmed that he is HIV negative.
The President of the country has been the source of controversy as of late due to his own sexual behavior and the fact that he has three wives.
Back in 2006 he admitted to having unprotected sex with a woman who was HIV positive, a bad move on his part as South African officials try to promote safe sex in a country with one of the highest rates of HIV.
“After careful consideration, I have decided to share my test results with the South Africans,” he said in a statement.
“My April results, like the three previous ones, registered a negative outcome for the HIV virus.”
“We have to make all South Africans understand that people living with HIV have not committed any crimes.”
Zuma became President of South Africa last April.
Zuma HIV negative if you believe that you can believe any thing
The Law of the country say you may only maried one partner, did he only maried one? What about the law is it only appicabile to other people
There are two many two face people in South Africa and whe they look in a mirror you see four of them
It is good that our president is not HIV positive, but the declaration has both positive and negative consequences. The unintended consequences of this declarations are: 1. One can have multiple concurrent partners and still be HIV negative.
2. One can have sex with an HIV positive and not get infected.
The very things the campaign against HIV transmission is trying to encourage- condom use and faithfulness, can be discouraged by the declaration.
