Results of a brand new study show us that children raised by lesbian couples are well adjusted and fit in just fine in school.
The study followed up to 78 children for a 20 year period, from the time the children were born until they graduated high school and proved that the lesbian family home has only positives when it comes to school.
Children from lesbian families were found to be less likely to be aggressive, less likely to engage in illegal activity and had no difficulties when it came to fitting in socially with their peers.
Children from lesbian families were also found to be more apt when it came to their academics than children of a similar age from traditional families.
“This is a straightforward statistical analysis. It will stand and it has withstood very rigorous peer review by the people who make the decision whether to publish it,” says lead researcher Dr. Nanette Gartrell.
